What’s good, comix fans?
Remember that licensed rock & roll gig Dave & I mentioned on the podcasts, & on Twitter a while back?
It’s done! It’s being colored!
AND: there’s a sneak preview of the pencils in this month’s issue of HEAVY METAL MAGAZINE (Available at Borders, Barnes & Noble, & finer comic vendors worldwide).
It’s featured in the middle of the Calabrese interview.

I don’t draw. Haven’t done so since about the eighth grade.
Yesterday I read this simply, yet beautifully illustrated daydream about being paralyzed by fear:
(how cool is that title?)
And figured “fuck it”.
We didn’t have anything scheduled to go up today, and instead of having you folks wake up to the disappointment of not having a new strip to look at, I figured I could make a few of you smile by hammering out something fast and loose, completely on my own.
I hope I succeeded.
cheers,

Are you asking yourself, “why does this comic feel familiar?”, mod squad? well, you should. cause its the same story as ” Hopelessness” but from my point of view. Eric got his turn to tell what happened. This week is my turn.

Good morning, Mod Squad! Since today is fake Wednesday (new comics will arrive on Thursday this week, instead of the customary Wednesday because of Thanksgiving–another reason to hate pilgrims) I’m taking the day off of comic makin’ to spit some game at you.
I know, I know. You’re sad. You probably feel a little like this:
But it’s okay, babygirls. Turn that shit upside down, like so:
I’ve got some good news for you.
Young Dave Baker & I are going to venture out of our respective talent-cocoons at the end of the month, for an in-store signing of Horrible Little People at Spazdog Comics! The little guys sold out at the Tucson Comic Con’, went back to press, and are scheduled to arrive on Dave’s mother’s doorstep the split second before we need them. And as an added bonus, Horrible Little People now comes with 30% less typos! Yeah!
In other news: cartoonist extraordinaire Christian Vilaire (see what I did there? With the rhyming? Man, do I rule) drew lil’ Davito & myself into his forthcoming Space Opera “Killer Mutated Rabits From Outer Space” ! It’s an action/adventure epic about…well…I wouldn’t want to ruin the surprise.
Look at my space-pants! Look at them!
Alright, kids. That’s enough from me for today. Dave’s going to throw something up later in the day. Brace yourselves for awesome sauce.
